For too long, the forces that shape our health have been invisible, and the people who could afford to manage them, the ones who filter their air and test their water, have had a quiet advantage. Mauka is building Exposure Age to make those forces visible and actionable for everyone, not only for those who can pay for the answer.

Mauka was founded by Laura Melahn. She trained as a molecular biologist studying epigenetics at Princeton and Oxford, and spent more than a decade as a venture investor at the intersection of consumer technology and health, including at Google Ventures.
